Write Queer is an LGBTQ+ writing group based at Nottingham Central Library, providing a supportive space for LGBTQ+ writers and allies to develop their creative writing, meet other writers and share their work. The group was founded in 2022 and now runs regular in-person sessions at Nottingham Central Library alongside online sessions. Its workshops welcome writers at all stages, from people writing for the first time to more experienced writers developing existing projects. Write Queer's approach is built around respect, openness, creativity and encouragement, with the emphasis on creating a welcoming, judgement-free environment.
