Boasting the finest sound system in Notts, Metronome first opened it’s doors in October 2018, to offer the city of Nottingham an opportunity to discover something new – whether that be in an intimate seated performance, or a lively sold out gig.

We may have only been open for a few years, but we’ve already become the home of BBC Introducing in the East Midlands and Just the Tonic Comedy Club, have hosted a stage at Dot to Dot and Hockley Hustle, as well as regularly hosting Rough Trade out-store events.

We’ve had the privilege of welcoming music artist Self Esteem, Sigrid, Twin Atlantic, Circa Waves, Bru-C, Snapped Ankles, Mura Mass, Badly Drawn Boy, The Orb, Let’s Eat Grandma and many more onto our stage.

We’ve also hosted comedians such as Russell Howard, Ed Byrne, Reginald D. Hunter, Naomi Cooper, Scott Bennett, Jason Byrne, and Lindsey Sontoro.

It’s not just comedy and music that we’ve hosted though, with the British Esports Finals, Nottingham Poetry Festival, burlesque events, and numerous book launches taking place at Metronome.
